The standards of HDPE pipes mainly include specification standards, performance standards, production process and quality inspection standards. These standards ensure the performance and safety of HDPE pipes in a variety of applications.

Specification standard of HDPE pipe

Diameter: HDPE pipes have a wide range of diameters, common specifications range from DN300 to DN2000, and special customized products are larger in size.
Wall thickness: The wall thickness is adjusted according to the size of the pipe diameter and the requirements of the ring stiffness, usually while ensuring the structural strength, and striving for lightweight design, easy transportation and installation.
Ring stiffness: Ring stiffness is an important indicator to measure the compressive capacity of the pipeline, which determines the ability of the pipeline to resist external loads after burial. The common ring stiffness grades are SN4, SN8, SN12.5, etc., among which SN8 grade pipes are widely used in most projects because of their moderate rigidity and cost-effectiveness.
Performance standards for HDPE pipes

Chemical resistance: HDPE has good resistance to most domestic and industrial chemicals, but it can be chemically corrosive by certain corrosive oxidants, aromatic hydrocarbons and halogenated hydrocarbons.
Physical properties: HDPE with medium to high molecular weight has impact resistance and shows good physical properties at room temperature and even at low temperatures.
Environmental adaptability: HDPE pipes are suitable for a variety of environments, including rainwater, sewage, farmland irrigation and other drainage tasks.
Production process and quality inspection standards of HDPE pipes

Production process: HDPE pipe is made by extrusion molding process, and the extrusion temperature, traction speed and other process parameters need to be strictly controlled during the production process to ensure stable and reliable product quality.
Quality inspection: There are also clear requirements for the connection method, sealing performance and service life of the pipeline to ensure the safety and reliability of the pipeline in use.
