Rotational molding
The production of pipe floats uses rotational molding technology. Rotational molding is used to make the outer shell of the floats. The outer shell of the floats is made of polyethylene. Polyethylene is currently the most widely used material. When manufacturing, we need to place the polyethylene in the mold. The mold is heated while the mold rotates and revolves around a vertical axis, and then cools to form.
Filled with foam inside
When the outer shell is manufactured, the shell need to be filled with foam inside to ensure buoyancy. The buoyancy is closely related to the filling foam. There are two types of filling materials: Polyurethane and polystyrene.
